Latino Center of the Midlands

Rebecca Valdez is the Executive Director of the Latino Center of the Midlands, Greater Omaha’s oldest and largest organization committed to serving the needs and aspirations of the region’s Latino community.   
 
Rebecca serves on the Board of Directors of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce, Clarkson College, and Omaha Public Schools Foundation. She was elected November 2008 to serve on the Nebraska State Board of Education representing Omaha’s District 4.   

 

A 2005 Influence of Omaha graduate of the Institute for Career Advancement ICAN she is committed to fostering a multi-cultural community that embraces and celebrates its diversity, seeks to realize the full potential of all its inhabitants, and works to build a secure and meaningful future for all.
