Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia and the youngest in a family of 12 children, Cristina migrated to the U.S. to pursue graduate school. Cristina is married to Rod Matukewicz and they have two daughters. She is a bilingual and bicultural person who hopes to pass the wealth of her dual traditions to her children.

Cristina received the Ten Outstanding Young Omahans and the Distinguish Community Service Award by the Omaha Jaycees. She also received the “Forty Under Forty” award by the MBJ.

Cristina is a Community Development VP for Wells Fargo and has a Master Degree in Business Administration.
