Laurine Garrity Laurine Garrity
TD Ameritrade

Laurine Garrity is currently Chief Marketing Officer with TD AMERITRADE, a leader in online brokerage services.  Laurine has over 24 years of marketing experience including 16 in the financial services area and 8 years in packaged goods advertising. 
At TD AMERITRADE, Laurine’s responsibilities include marketing strategy, brand and advertising, client share of wealth programs, website content and marketing information management.  She is a member of TD AMERITRADE’s Senior Operating Committee and Benefits Advisory Committee. 

 

Prior to joining TD AMERITRADE in January 2005, Laurine held various marketing leadership and management roles in the mutual fund industry. She served as Executive Vice President of Marketing at the Dreyfus Corporation in New York, Senior Vice President, Director of Marketing at Founders Asset Management LLC in Denver and as a marketing manager with INVESCO Funds Group in Denver. Prior to entering the financial services arena, Laurine held media planning and account management positions at leading advertising agencies in Denver and New York.  

 

Laurine is currently a Board member of the Elisa Monte Dance Company in New York, as well as a member of the advisory board for the University of Kansas Business School in Lawrence, Kansas.  In the past, Laurine has served actively on a number of industry and community committees including the Securities Industry and Financial Market’s Investor Education committee in New York, The Investment Company Institute’s Direct Marketing committee in Washington, DC. and the Cherry Creek Business Improvement District in Denver, CO.  Laurine also frequently volunteers at her daughter’s school and her church.
